Ƶapp to Acquire REHAU Automotive
Ƶapp (“Atlas”) announced today the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire REHAU Automotive from the REHAU Group. The transaction is expected to close by the first quarter of 2025 following the completion of customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
REHAU Automotive, a trusted partner to international vehicle manufacturers, develops, manufactures, and supplies high-quality exterior, bumper, and polymer functional systems. With a workforce of 7,000 employees across 25 locations in nine countries, REHAU Automotive is committed to making polymer solutions for the automotive industry lighter, safer, and more sustainable. REHAU Automotive is currently part of the global REHAU Group, which employs around 20,000 people and generates annual sales exceeding 4.5 billion euros. Following the closing of the transaction, the REHAU Group will continue to own a minority ownership stake in the REHAU Automotive business.
